Matt Cimino is an experienced award winning sound designer and mixer with a passion for crafting immersive audio experiences. With over 20 years in the industry, he has worked across a wide range of projects, from feature films and television series to TV commercials, podcast and interactive media. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and creative soundscapes, Matt brings stories to life through the art of sound.
Having collaborated with award-winning directors, creative directors, producers, ad agencies, production studios, and brands, Matt’s work is characterized by an ability to enhance narrative depth and emotional impact through sound. He holds a BA in Audio for the Visual Medium & Recording/Mixing from Columbia College Chicago, and his technical skills span from Sound Design, Dialogue Editing to Multichannel Mixing and Mastering for various formats.
Matt is always exploring new techniques and technologies in audio post-production, aiming to push the boundaries of storytelling through sound.
